"C'est le vent qui fait la musique"

It is the wind that brings wind instruments to resonate.
Today, we no longer know many of the musical instruments of the past. How were they played, how did they sound?

For example, those of the antiquity, the winds and percussion of the "Turkish band" around 1800, or the orchestra of the Romantic period? And how did the shepherd's horn mutate into a popular instrument of traditional and modern music and into a symbol of Swissness: the alphorn?

And try to play our instruments yourself: Alphorn, Roman cornua, theremin, and many more.
